Anne Saint-Pierre is a French-born, New York-based documentary/fine arts photographer. In her independent projects, she explores people’s sense of place and displacement through portraiture, landscape and still photography. On assignment, she focuses on atmosphere and people’s emotional connections to their environment. In 2014, she began photographing the programs of RIF Asylum Support, a Queens-based organization, notably a paid fellowship in rooftop agriculture for asylum-seekers, in partnership with Brooklyn Grange. Previously, she worked as a moving image designer/director, using film and photography, eventually working across disciplines on branding, advocacy, collaborations with artists and educational projects.
